As a company experiencing rapid growth and dynamic development, we are seeking an experienced Project Buyer with a technical aptitude to enhance our Procurement Team.

The job:

As project buyer, you will be a part of our Procurement Team in Hedensted that currently consists of 7 dedicated colleagues (Project and Strategic Buyers) with diverse professional backgrounds, with direct reference to the Procurement Manager.

Your main goal is to ensure the timely availability of quality goods required for successful project completion, while optimizing costs, mitigating risks, and maintaining strong supplier relationships throughout the project.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop procurement plan in cooperation with the Project Manager.
  • Identify and select potential suppliers.
  • Prepare and issue RFQ’s.
  • Negotiate project price.
  • Create and follow up on purchase orders.
  • Maintain master data.
  • Processing supplier deviations.
  • Providing support for Strategic Procurement.
  • Proactively supporting the Sales, Project, and Service Departments.
  • Conduct ad hoc tasks Procurement/Supply.

Your profile
Professional skills:

  • Proven experience as a Project Buyer or Operational Buyer, preferably in a project manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both Danish and English (verbal and written).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel to effectively analyze and present data.
  • Experience with ERP and NAV will be an advantage.

Personal Skills:

As an individual, you approach your work in an independent and structured manner. You pay attention to detail while also maintaining focus on the overall objective.

You can manage a hectic workday with tight deadlines at times. You will interact extensively with various departments, requiring you to be adaptable and excel in facing challenges.

A sense of humor and a positive mindset are crucial as well as a pro-active and service-oriented mindset.
